Instructions
Pound together the chilli, onions, candle nuts, shrimp paste, and turmeric. Heat the oil and fry the mixture for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add the meat, stirring briskly. Cook for 5 minutes. Pour in the stock. Cover the pan and simmer until the meat is tender. Add in the vinegar, sugar, mustard, and salt. Check for taste. Continue to simmer until the meat is cooked thoroughly and the liquid has been almost all absorbed. Pour in the soy sauce and serve immediately, garnished with some sliced onion and ginger.
